# Curse Voice 1.0.1 — Third-party notices

This document is the consolidated third-party software inventory for Curse Voice 1.0.1. The version numbers below are taken from the locked release dependency tree. The Web edition publishes this notice and the applicable license texts under `/licenses/`. License texts shipped with the Windows build are in `resources/licenses`. Electron's complete Chromium/Node/V8/FFmpeg notice collection is also shipped as `LICENSES.chromium.html` beside the application executable.

Curse Voice itself is released under the MIT License. Nothing in this document changes the license of a third-party component.

The JavaScript runtime dependencies are React / React DOM → Scheduler and Tone.js → standardized-audio-context → automation-events / @babel/runtime / tslib. The WebAssembly binaries also include native DSP dependencies: RNNoise and Signalsmith Linear.

Signalsmith Stretch 1.3.2 was published from commit `222093b4cc13ddb4d07c826bc3c1559326091731`. Its WebAssembly entry point includes `signalsmith-stretch.h`, which uses `signalsmith-linear/stft.h`; the upstream CMake configuration selects Linear 0.1.2. The separate Linear copyright and MIT text are preserved in `SIGNALSMITH-LINEAR-MIT.txt`. React, React DOM, and Scheduler have identical upstream MIT texts, preserved together in `REACT-FAMILY-MIT.txt`.

The RNNoise wrapper's published source commit `cb529a59a8478fe604e57986fc96afdaecfa6fb7` pins `emscripten/emsdk:3.1.14`. The unmodified SDK license and musl copyright collection from that tag are included as `EMSCRIPTEN-MIT-NCSA.txt` and `MUSL-COPYRIGHT.txt`. Signalsmith Stretch's upstream build also uses Emscripten, but its published binary does not identify an exact SDK revision; no exact compiler version is claimed for that binary.

## Redistributed external software (not open source)

### VB-CABLE Pack45

Curse Voice's Windows installer redistributes the official VB-CABLE Pack45 package without modification. VB-CABLE is copyright Vincent Burel / VB-Audio Software, is Donationware, and is **not open-source software**. Its original `readme.txt`, including the end-user license and disclaimer, remains inside the unmodified official ZIP and is also copied to `resources/licenses/VB-CABLE-EULA-README.txt` for direct access.

- Origin: https://www.vb-cable.com/
- Licensing and distribution terms: https://vb-audio.com/Services/licensing.htm
- Donation/license purchase: https://shop.vb-audio.com/en/win-apps/11-vb-cable.html

The user is told that VB-CABLE is made by VB-Audio and is Donationware before its separate official setup program is launched, and remains able to donate or purchase a license. Business, institutional, volume, resale, or other uses must follow VB-Audio's current terms; distributors should obtain any agreement or paid licenses required for their context.

## Detected or referenced, but not bundled or linked

These projects are not part of the Curse Voice binary. Their licenses do not relicense Curse Voice.

| Project | Relationship | License | Upstream |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| BlackHole | Independently installed macOS virtual audio device; Curse Voice only detects its OS device name and links to the official installer | GPL-3.0; non-GPL apps require a separate license for integration | https://github.com/ExistentialAudio/BlackHole |
| VirtualDrivers/Virtual-Audio-Driver | Evaluated as a Windows virtual-driver option, but no code or binary is included | Original portions MIT; Microsoft sample-derived portions MS-PL | https://github.com/VirtualDrivers/Virtual-Audio-Driver |
| electron-vite/electron-vite-react | Project layout reference only; no source file was copied | MIT | https://github.com/electron-vite/electron-vite-react |

## Direct development and packaging tools (not shipped as app runtime code)

| Component | Version | License |
| --- | ---: | --- |
| TypeScript | 7.0.2 | Apache-2.0 |
| Vite | 8.3.3 | MIT |
| @emnapi/core / @emnapi/runtime | 1.11.3 | MIT |
| @resvg/resvg-js (build-only SVG renderer) | 2.6.2 | MPL-2.0 |
| @vitejs/plugin-react | 6.1.1 | MIT |
| Vitest | 5.0.3 | MIT |
| electron-builder | 26.15.3 | MIT |
| concurrently | 10.0.6 | MIT |
| cross-env | 10.1.0 | MIT |
| rimraf | 6.1.3 | BlueOak-1.0.0 |
| wait-on | 9.5.1 | MIT |
| @types/node / @types/react / @types/react-dom | 26.6.4 / 19.3.0 / 19.3.0 | MIT |
| Pillow (build-only image encoder) | 12.3.0 | MIT-CMU |

These tools and their transitive packages are used to build or test the project and are not copied into the packaged app. Their own packages contain the corresponding license texts; `package-lock.json` pins the exact dependency graph.

`@resvg/resvg-js` 2.6.2 (https://github.com/yisibl/resvg-js) is used only during asset generation to render the supplied logo SVGs into PNG images for favicons, native ICO/ICNS files, and social-preview artwork. Its MPL-2.0-licensed renderer and native bindings are not included in the Web or desktop application runtime. The supplied logo artwork is not assigned a new open-source license by this software inventory.

## Preservation requirements

Redistributors must keep this file, the contents of `resources/licenses`, Electron's `LICENSE.electron.txt` and `LICENSES.chromium.html`, and the unmodified VB-CABLE readme/package together with the application. Source and binary redistribution must also preserve the Curse Voice MIT license.
